Cold
-Caused by viruses entering the body
-Usually a two week span, accompanied with aches and pains
-Most commonly occur during the late fall and winter months
-Associate coughs with colds (especially the hacking types)
-Running, stuffy noses, sneezing, and fatigue
-Occasional sore throat and fever
Allergy
-Due to the exposure of allergens: pollens, dust mites, molds,
animal dander, trees, and grasses
-Can last for weeks or even months
-Generally no aches or pains associated
-Can occur any time of the year, worst in spring and fall
-Running, stuffy noses, sneezing, and fatigue
